The Foundations Portland precinct is one of Australia’s oldest cement works, which opened 160 years ago and operated until 1991, has been undergoing a regeneration.
These are the photos showing the removal of two extensive roofs, covering approximately 1,500 square meters, before and after the project.
The roof removal process involved the careful dismantling of the roof, and multiple layers of thick cement that had accumulated over the years. Our team dedicated significant time to this task, ensuring the safe removal as well as an environmental clean of the roof space, floor, and surrounding areas.
