Asbestos Testing

You may not be able to identify asbestos by looking at it. Only scientific testing of a sample can confirm asbestos. Remember if you think it might be asbestos; treat it like it is asbestos.

Typically in buildings, the historical materials present include asbestos, lead based paint, lead in dust, synthetic mineral fibres (SMF) and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB’s). These materials may present serious health, safety and environmental problems. As well as in buildings, these materials can also be present below ground from historical demolitions and historical dumping.

Get in touch, and we can take a small sample and send it back to a lab for testing.

Asbestos Removal

We are licenced and insured Asbestos Removalists. With over 15 years’ experience working with residential, commercial and industrial clients.

All removal and disposal of asbestos work is carried out in accordance with Safe Work NSW Code of Practice and WHS legislation, to ensure there is no risk of exposure to anyone.

For every removal we produce a Safe Work Method Statement and Asbestos Removal Control Plan.

For asbestos removal works more than 10m2, you are required by Safe Work NSW to carry out a visual clearance inspection.

The purpose of the Asbestos Clearance Certificate is to ensure that all visible asbestos fragments posing a significant health risk have been removed; this also includes the transit routes to and from the removal area.

We are partnered with environmental consultants who undertake an inspection of the site on completion of the removal work and issue a clearance certificate.

Asbestos Disposal

We only dispose of asbestos waste at a landfill that is licenced to accept it. Using a licenced landfill keeps asbestos in a well-managed space and away from the community.

Disposals are tracked by Waste Locate using GPS to track each of our pickups to disposal. Giving you peace of mind, that your asbestos waste is being disposed of in the correct and safest way.
